Epic Vanguard

Epic Vanguard is a Cyber-Fantasy EDM project by composer/producer ochi. Blending melodic bass, rocktronic, cinematic EDM, and the emotional language of game and anime music, the project creates grand, story-driven electronic music.
 

Built around the concept of accessing a fictional archive where the memories of countless eras, places, and events are stored as data, Epic Vanguard renders those records as EDM sound. By combining cinematic and emotional electronic textures with sci-fi and fantasy worldbuilding, the project transforms recorded worlds into immersive sonic experiences.
 

Through its instrumental works developed as the “Episode Series,” Epic Vanguard depicts scenes, events, and landscapes based on records from different eras and worlds preserved within the archive. Its vocal works focus on the memories and emotions of individuals who lived in those times. Each Epic Vanguard track is more than just a song; it is music that captures a fragment of a world.

無数の時代・場所・出来事の記憶がデータとして保存された架空のアーカイブへアクセスし、その記録をEDMサウンドとして出力することをコンセプトに、シネマティックでエモーショナルな電子音響と、SF・ファンタジーの世界観を組み合わせ、没入感のある音像として描き出す。

「Episodeシリーズ」として展開するインストゥルメンタル曲では、アーカイブに保存された異なる時代や世界の記録をもとに、場面・出来事・風景を描写。ボーカル曲では、その時代を生きた人物の記憶や感情に焦点を当てる。Epic Vanguardの楽曲は、単なる一曲ではなく、世界の断片を切り取った音楽である。
